This website is hosted by OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France. The extension is distributed through the Chrome Web Store, operated by Google.
The service
PeekDrive is a browser extension that searches inside the files of your Google Drive, shows the matching passages and opens a file at the right spot. It requires a Google account and your authorization to read your Drive (read-only access). By installing or using PeekDrive, you accept these terms.
Price
PeekDrive is currently free. If paid features are offered in the future, their price and conditions will be clearly presented before any subscription.
Your Google account and your data
PeekDrive only reads your files, to search them, and cannot modify, move, share or delete anything in your Drive. Your files and searches only travel between your browser and Google: PeekDrive has no server. You can remove this access at any time from myaccount.google.com/permissions and uninstall the extension. How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You agree to use PeekDrive in compliance with the law and with Google’s terms, only on accounts and files you are allowed to access, and not to attempt to disrupt, circumvent or misuse the extension.
Intellectual property
The PeekDrive name, logo, website and extension are the property of their publisher. Your files remain yours: PeekDrive claims no rights over them. Google, Google Drive and Chrome are trademarks of Google LLC. PeekDrive is an independent product, not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
Availability and liability
PeekDrive is provided as is. It relies on Google services, which may change or be unavailable, so its operation cannot be guaranteed to be uninterrupted, and some results may be incomplete (for example, scanned PDFs have no preview). To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of PeekDrive. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law.
Changes and termination
These terms may change: the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new date. You can stop using PeekDrive at any time by uninstalling the extension and removing its access to your Google account.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, please contact us first to find an amicable solution; failing that, the competent French courts will have jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory rules protecting consumers in their country of residence.
